German test engineer in WW2, worked on rocket engine development in Glushko's design bureau from 1947 to 1952. Worked as Deputy to the Test Bench Chief; Laboratory Department.

Born: 1910-11-19. Died: 1962-09-01.

Schwarz graduated in engineering from the HTL Engineering Wroclaw in 1934. After working at several companies, in 1938 he began work for the German Army as an experimental and test engineer at the liquid engine test stands in Kummersdorf, Peenemünde and Lehesten. From 1946 to 1950 he and his family were transported to Khimki near Moscow, where he worked transferring rocket engine test technology to Glushko's design bureau.
