Russian surface-to-air missile. Prototype air-breathing surface-to-air missile, using air-augmented solid propellant.

Status: Cancelled 1960.

On 23 June 1960 the first test flight of a two-stage air-breathing surface-to-air missile prototype, the 17D, was conducted. This was a unique air-augmented solid fuel motor concept. Further development led through the 18D and 22D to the Krug operational missile.
