Hall effect thruster with anode layer. Export version of D-38 thruster developed under NASA contract for satellite station-keeping and attitude control. Taken to engineering model stage. Thrust 2.5 to 8 mN, power requirement 0.4 to 1.0 kW, specific impulse 1300-2500 seconds, efficiency 45%.
