Five stage vehicle consisting of 2 x PSOM-XL + 1 x S139 + 1 x PS2 + 1 x PS3 + 1 x PS4
PSLV DL allowed more flexiblity through use of 2-6 PSOM-XL strap-on boosters matched to payload requirements, and variable propellant loads and restart capability in the final stage. Demonstrated payload capability with 2 PSOM boosters was 750 kg to a 300 km altitude polar orbit.
