Ruben F. Mettler was an electronics and engineering company executive who worked for the Hughes Aircraft Co., 1949-1954; Ramo-Wooldridge Corp., 1955-1958; TRW Space Technology Laboratories, 1958-1965; TRW Systems Group, 1965-1968; president and chief operating officer of TRW Inc., 1969-1977; and TRW chairman of the board and CEO, 1977-1988.
