Astronaut Career

Astronaut Group: Buran Group - 1978. Deceased Entered space service: 1 January 1977. Left space service: 30 June 1980. Selected as a cosmonaut for the Buran program in 1977 by the Gromov Flight Test Center, but the selection was not confirmed by the government commission.
