Astronaut Group: Buran Group 3 Supplemental - 1990. Inactive Entered space service: 11 May 1990. Left space service: April 1991. Cosmonaut training March 1989 - April 1991.

Test pilot at GKNII in Akhtubinsk.

Maksimenko Chronology

11 May 1990 - Buran Cosmonaut Training Group 3 Supplemental selected.. Experienced test pilots were selected to train for manned missions using the Buran space shuttle.
