Eugene G. Fubini was a noted physicist. A native of Italy, he came to the United States in 1938 to work for CBS in charge of microwave and international broadcasting. He worked for the U.S. military in World War II, and in a succession of technical and scientific position with the Department of Defense in the post-war era. From 1969 he served as a consultant with the Texas Instruments Corp and IBM.
